Santaniello and Ludington's State medals give Brick Memorial 71 all-time, which is the most for any Shore Conference team. Sophomore Harvey Ludington made it to his 2nd State final in as many seasons, but was unable to repeat as champion, finishing as the runner-up at 175 to another returning State Champion, Simon Ruiz of Delbarton. Next up for Santaniello, the University of Oklahoma in the fall. He was a 4-time Region, 3-time District, and 2-time Shore Conference Tournament champion. His 138 wins puts him 3rd on the Stangs' all-time wins list. It cements Santaniello's legacy as one of the all-time greats at Brick Memorial. The title was Santaniello's 4th State medal overall, joining his brother Vincent as the only Mustangs to win four State medals.
